Study of the gastrointestinal microbiome of Tan sheep (Ovis aries)

This project investigates the effects of incorporating Elaeagnus angustifolia (Russian olive) into the diet on the gastrointestinal microbial community structure of Tan sheep using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. Samples were collected from different intestinal segments to analyze the composition and diversity of microbial communities.
