RNA-Seq was used to analyze the evolution of the transcriptome during fruit ripening of 3 varieties of C. clementina: Clemenules (control), Arrufatina (early) and Hernandina (late). Samples were collected every 30 days from September till January, including pulp and peel, with 2 replicates from each variety and date. Total mRNA was extracted and Ilumina sequencing technology was used with pair end libraries.
