资源简介:
1996 is the year of the first extrasolar planet discoveries. 4 jupiter sized planets have been discovered so far around main sequence stars. we believe that the vega phenomenon (infrared excess emission due to dust disks around main sequence stars) is related to planet formation in that the leftover planetesimals are the likely source of the observed dust particles. of the four planetary systems, three are fortunately covered by iso observations looking for vega like excess. we propose to use 30 minutes of discretionary time to observe the newest example and, if possible, discover the disk associated with that star. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
