This dataset is a modified release of the original OpenContrails Dataset (DOI: 10.1109/TGRS.2023.3345226). In this version, the semantic segmentation masks have been converted into polygon annotations, supporting the training of alternative instance-segmentation models and enabling the tracking and analysis of individual linear contrail features. Labels are supplied in standardized formats, including both COCO (.json) and YOLO (.txt) annotations. False color ash rgb images are provided in .png format.
