PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laminated paper that can readily peel a paper base material and a thermoplastic resin layer and can readily recycle a raw material， a base material for the laminated paper， a paper container using the laminated paper and a production method of the laminated paper. SOLUTION: Laminated paper for paper containers has a paper base material mainly made of cellulose pulp， and a thermoplastic resin layer laminated on at least one surface of the paper base material. The paper base material is laminated paper for paper containers characterized by containing at least one kind of straight chain aliphatic acid and straight chain alcohol， having a melting point of the straight chain aliphatic acid and the straight chain alcohol of 80 to 100°C， and having a total of contents of the straight chain aliphatic acid and the straight chain alcohol of 100 to 2500 ppm. Furthermore， provided are a base material for the laminated paper for paper containers， a paper container using the laminated paper for paper containers and a production method of the laminated paper for the containers.
