Data and code for: Glacier models that match mass loss can still misjudge meltwater supply to rivers

Restricted-access data and code record for the manuscript "Glacier models that match mass loss can still misjudge meltwater supply to rivers" (S. Tak), submitted to Nature Geoscience (NGS-2026-11-04548). The study tests, in 27 gauged glacierized catchments in High Mountain Asia, the European Alps and the Patagonian Andes and under two pre-registered protocols, whether calibration of a glacio-hydrological model on geodetic glacier mass balance reproduces measured river discharge, and evaluates the published runoff of a global glacier model (OGGM). Contents: analysis code (Python 2.7), the two frozen protocols with SHA-256 freeze records, deviation logs and derived results. Input data are publicly available from their providers. Access is restricted; files are available from the author on reasonable request.
