Dataset and code for "Past sediment cover conditions influence modern channel sinuosity and bedrock meanders in the Oregon Coast Range"

This repository contains the primary analysis scripts and example datasets supporting the JGR: Earth Surface article “Past sediment cover conditions influence modern channel sinuosity and bedrock meanders in the Oregon Coast Range.” The package includes:• Python scripts for thalweg extraction, smoothing, and sinuosity analysis.• A demo DEM subset and example channel shapefile.• A README describing inputs, parameters, and processing steps.• A requirements.txt file specifying the computational environment. These materials allow users to reproduce the analysis workflow and apply it to their own datasets.
