Sojae Semen Praeparatum is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine fermented by soybean, boasting dual medicinal and edible properties. However, there is insufficient research regarding the dynamic changes in microbial communities during its natural fermentation process. Therefore, we conducted sampling during the fermentation process of Sojae Semen Praeparatum and sequenced the bacteria and fungi involved in the fermentation. This provides a theoretical foundation for future screening of core microbial species and optimization of the fermentation process.
