Supporting data for "Towards a Standardized Framework for Pangenome Graph Evaluation: Assessing Crop Plant Pangenome Variation Graph Construction from Multiple Assemblies"

This dataset was created to support the benchmarking of pangenome graph assembly pipelines in plants. It includes outputs from three widely used tools Minigraph, PGGB, and Minigraph-Cactus, generated using publicly available Sorghum bicolor genomes, along with additional data from soybean, barley, and oilseed rape. The dataset contains genome assemblies, pangenome graph files, variant calls, graph statistics, and associated coverage and evaluation files. These resources can be used to assess graph quality, completeness, duplication levels, and the representation of structural variants. The dataset enables reproducible comparison of pangenome construction methods and provides a foundation for applying standardized evaluation metrics across different species and use cases.
