Symplocos sawafutagi mitochondrial genome

Symplocos sawafutagi belongs to the Symplocaceae family and is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to China with multiple application values.We reported the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of S.sawafutagi, the first representative of the family Symplocaceae. These results will help in better understanding the features of the S.sawafutagi mitochondrial genome and lay the foundation for the development of molecular markers of S.sawafutagi.
