Scripts and results for the manuscript "Potential cultivation areas for five yam species in São Paulo, Brazil"

This dataset contains the results, input data, environmental layers, and scripts required to reproduce the analyses presented in the manuscript “Potential cultivation areas for five yam species in São Paulo, Brazil”. Results are organized into separate ZIP archives for each species: Dioscorea alata → d_alata.zip Dioscorea bulbifera (east population) → d_bulbifera_east.zip Dioscorea bulbifera (west population) → d_bulbifera_west.zip Dioscorea cayennensis → d_cayennensis.zip Dioscorea composita → d_composita.zip Dioscorea floribunda → d_floribunda.zip Environmental predictor layers are provided in layers.zip. They were derived from CHELSA climate data. Original CHELSA datasets retain their original licensing and attribution requirements. All R and Python scripts used for data processing, modeling, and figure generation are provided in scripts.zip, which also includes a README file describing the workflow and file organization. It also includes MaxEnt version 3.4.1 (maxent.jar), distributed under the MIT License. Occurrence records used in this study were obtained from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility through the download DOIs listed in the related works section. Except where otherwise noted, original scripts and derived datasets in this archive are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). Included third-party software and datasets retain their original licenses.
