Building Footprints

The shape and orientation of the ground floor of all structures in a local government. This information is compiled from orthoimagery and GPS locations. This representation of the building footprints support the local government basemaps. It also serves as a source for public works, public safety, planning and other agencies that are responsible for the active management of site addresses, facilities, and land use information.本数据集收录某地方政府所辖区域内所有建筑物的首层平面形状与朝向信息，数据整合自正射影像（Orthoimagery）与GPS定位数据。该建筑基底相关数据可支撑该地方政府的官方电子底图建设，同时亦可作为市政工程、公共安全、规划及其他负责场地地址、设施与土地利用信息动态管理的相关机构的数据源。
