The State of Research Assessment [full survey data]

In 2024, Springer Nature conducted a survey of 6,623 researchers. The aim of the survey was to better understand the current state of research assessment and the varied experiences, perceptions and wishes of researchers navigating this environment – to inform ongoing discussions on research assessment reform.This is the full survey data from that analysis. Some information has been redacted to maintain anonymity of respondents.The survey data was used to inform the 2025 white paper, <i>The State of Research Assessment: Researcher Perspectives on Evaluation Practices</i>.
