RSP2 periodic window in European war dynamics (1495–1945): data, code, and manifests

This repository accompanies the study “Periodic window and intermittent exit in European war dynamics (1648–1792): a nonlinear perspective” and provides all data and code needed to reproduce the article and Supporting Information. Raw inputs include Levy’s great-power war list (1495–1945), a war–participant panel, great-power status intervals, systemic-war battle-death totals, and intra-European CCI pillars. Derived CSVs supply figure-ready time series (IOIs, severities, surrogates, recurrence/RQA metrics, participation matrices, network trajectories) for all main-text and SI figures. Section-level Python scripts (S2_CCI_and_kappa.py … S11_damped_oscillator_diagnostics.py) rebuild every table and diagnostic into output/tables/ from the archived data only. A methods manifest, script→figure map, and SHA-256 checksum manifest document all parameters, seeds, and file hashes so that the full pipeline is transparent, deterministic, and ready for pre-registered extensions to other historical systems.
