Microbial responses in different land-use systems due to organic substrate addition. Captured metatranscriptomics

Here we aim to identify the effect of agricultural land-use management on microbial responses due to organic substrate addition of straw, which induces production of enzymatic activities and subsequent RNA production in the soils. To identify the expression of genes and gene functions involved in the organic matter degradation in agricultural soils captured metatranscriptomics technique was applied.
