Propagation phase contrast synchrotron X-ray micro-computed tomography reconstructed dataset for the characterization of the skull of the sphenodontian Agriodontosaurus helsbypetrae BRSUG 29950-14 (University of Bristol, School of Earth Sciences, Geology Collections). The specimen is from the Helsby Sandstone Formation (locally, the Otter Sandstone) of Sidmouth, Devon, England. The acquisition was performed on the BM18 beamline of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF, Grenoble, France) with a measured pixel size of 6 µm. The reconstructed dataset is in 16-bit jp2000 format.
