Ceramic 3D Collection for the ERC-SG IslandLives, Part I: Taima Taima, Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural, La Aguada, and Nueva Cádiz

<p>This dataset contains <strong>Part I of the ERC Starting Grant <em>IslandLives</em> 3D Ceramic Collection</strong>. It includes a selection of archaeological ceramics digitised through structured light scanning.</p>

<p>All 3D models are provided in <strong>.glb</strong> format, which includes both geometry and textures in a single file, ensuring easy viewing and use, as well as a README ,txt file and a csv file with archaeological information of the sites.</p>

<p>The collection forms part of the ERC project <em>IslandLives</em> (ref. 101162734), which explores everyday life and alternative modernities (17th–19th c.) in the ABC Islands through interdisciplinary research methods. The project is hosted at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. <p><strong>Part I</strong> comprises 3D models originating from the following archaeological sites of Venezuela:</p>

<li>Taima Taima, El Carrizal, Estado Falcón</li>
<li>Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural (IPCC). Various sites: Casa Balcón (Ciudad Orinoco, Estado Anzoategui), Palacio Arzobispal (Ciudad Bolívar, Estado Bolívar), Escuela José Ángel Lamas (Caracas, Distrito Capital), Cuartel San Carlos (Caracas, Distrito Capital)</li>
<li>La Aguada, Península Paraguaná, Estado Falcón</li>
<li>Nueva Cádiz, Isla Cubagua, Dependencia Federal</li>
</ul>

<p>This is the first release of an ongoing dataset series. Future parts (Part II, Part III…) will be published as separate datasets as new models are processed and curated.</p>
