资源简介:
Today's world poses numerous challenges for future generations. Therefore, it is important for today‘s youth to be globally competent, i.e., to be able to deal with local, global and intercultural issues, and to understand and appreciate perspectives and views of others. In the present study, we use data from the PISA study 2018, in which global competence was assessed as an innovative domain. The sample consists of 3779 students in the age of 15 and 16 years. Our theoretical mediation model assumes relations between perspective taking, awareness of global competence, self-regulation, adaptability, and agency regarding global issues. Further, we hypothesize that self-regulation mediates the relation between global competence awareness and the agency regarding globale issues. Thus, in this study we aim to discover new insights regarding global competence awareness and it’s possible direct as well as indirect relations with agency regarding global issues via self-regulation. In this paper, we will test the theoretical model with statistical analyses and discuss the results. unknown other
