Interpersonal Stressors as Necessary Conditions for Suicidal Ideation: Evidence from a Necessary Condition Analysis of Nigerian Undergraduates

This dataset contains anonymized survey data collected from university students in Nigeria to examine psychological and social factors associated with suicidal ideation and depressive symptoms. The dataset includes demographic characteristics, depression symptoms, positive and negative suicidal ideation, perceived burdensomeness, thwarted belongingness, and related psychosocial measures. Derived scale scores and categorical variables are also provided where applicable. The dataset was prepared for research and statistical analysis and accompanies a manuscript examining the relationships between depressive symptoms, suicidal ideation, and interpersonal psychological factors among university students. The dataset contains no directly identifying personal information.
