资源简介:
Last data update: February 18, 2019 Meanderbelt of all riverine systems in the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority watershed. Many meanderbelts have been updated due to watercourse modifications, study data from Parish Geomorphic, and site visit updates from planning and monitoring departments. Holland Marsh Canal - meanderbelt is the width of the canal based on 2013 Orthophotography. Municipal Drains In Agricultural Areas and Piped Watercourses have a meanderbelt of 1m from the Watercourse centerline. The erosion hazard limit for a riverine system consists of stream bank erosion and stable slope allowance for a confined riverine system and a meanderbelt for an unconfined riverine system. Parish Geomorphic has determined the meanderbelts for Streams of Order 3 and greater in East and West Holland, Maskinonge, Black, Pefferlaw, Uxbridge and Beaver subwatersheds. In the absence of a study, the meanderbelt has been defined as twenty times the bankful width of a reach centered on the meanderbelt axis. Special considerations have been given for meanderbelts in Holland Marsh and Trent Severn Waterway system, Municipal Drains with Agricultural Areas and Piped Watercourses. Where on-line ponds are located in areas where the meanderbelt is considered the dominant hazard, they have been added into the meanderbelt setback layer. In 2019 the extent was updated to LSRCA Scientific Watershed boundary.
