This dataset contains primary geological data, namely boundary types separating rock units. Other geological features (e.g. fault or dyke) are included where the feature forms a boundary to rock units.\n\nThis layer has been superseded by the Seamless Geology layers for \nFaults - SG_SHEAR_DISPLACE_STRUC_250K\nContacts - SG_GEOL_UNIT_CONTACT_250K\n\nThe data have been collected by the Geological Survey of Victoria. The dataset is accompanied by other datasets representing structural lines, miscellaneous lines, miscellaneous polygons, metamorphism, and placer deposits.
