This data package contains the Dialysis Facility Compare provides details on dialysis facilities across the country, including how well each dialysis center delivers care and the services they provide, patient experiences with dialysis centers, and much more. The information on Dialysis Facility Compare helps a person that how well dialysis centers care for their patients and each dialysis center used best practices when caring for its patients and kept patients healthy. This dataset contains the State averages of common dialysis quality measures. Dialysis Facility Compare can help you compare dialysis centers and choose one that’s right for you or your loved ones. The ESRD QIP will reduce payments to ESRD facilities that do not meet or exceed certain performance standards. The maximum payment reduction CMS can apply to any facility is two percent. This reduction will apply to all payments for services performed by the facility receiving the reduction during the applicable payment year (PY).
