Halomonas alkalicola strain:M2 Genome sequencing. Halomonas alkalicola strain:M2

H. alkalicola M2 was cultured in the modified LB medium for 24 hours, after which genomic DNA was extracted. The quality and quantity of the extracted DNA were evaluated using 16S rRNA sequencing, agarose gel electrophoresis, and a Qubit fluorometer (Invitrogen). The high-quality genome was sequenced and low-quality reads were filtered using SMRT Link v5.0.1. The resulting filtered reads were assembled into a single contig without gaps. Gene annotation was performed using NR, Swiss-Prot, Pfam, COG, GO, and KEGG databases.
