Estimated impact of COVID-19 on tourism revenue in Ireland 2020, by sector

A December 2020 report examined the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on revenue of the tourism sectors in Ireland. Based on the study's estimates, the food and beverage industry lost roughly 2.14 billion euros in 2020, making the sector the worst hit by the pandemic. Meanwhile, transport in Ireland lost around 940 million euros due to the health crisis.
