Number of political cyberattacks launched by Iran 2023, by attack characteristic

In 2023, cyber threat actors in Iran launched a total of 11 cyberattacks with a political dimension against other countries. Seven of these cyberattacks were conducted by state-affiliated groups. Six cyberattacks were directed toward critical infrastructure targets.
