Knowledge vs Skills: The Assessment Paradox in Hybrid Pediatric Surgery

The disparity in medical training resources poses a challenge for equitable education. This study evaluated a hybrid model—combining remote asynchronous theory with a centralized clinical rotation—to determine if it could bridge the competency gap for graduate-entry medical students training in resource-limited settings compared to high-school entry students in a tertiary center.
