Root transcriptomes of barley (Hordeum vulgare L. spp. vulgare cv Scarlett) under aluminium stress

After 3 days of germination, the barley seedlings (Hordeum vulgare L. spp. vulgare cv Scarlett) were transferred to a well-ventilated hydroponic system containing modified Magnavaca nutrient solution. When the plants reached 6 days of age, they were subjected to aluminum stress treatment or kept in the control group for 4 days. Different tissues from the region encompassing 25% of the root length were obtained using laser capture microdissection (LCM) and subjected to RNA sequencing. The sequencing was performed using the DNBSEQ-G400 platform (BGI Tech Solutions, China).
