Clinical trial for the effect of hydrolized and non hydrolyzed combiotic infant formula on the development of infant microbiome

To examine the extent to which the infant formula matrix (hydrolyzed or not) affects the microbiota of infants, a multicenter clinical trial was organized. Infants were fed hydrolyzed and non-hydrolyzed combiotic formulas and their fecal microbial composition was examined at different time points.
