The dataset contains daily precipitation data for the Shiyang River Basin, an inland river basin, covering the period from 1944 to 1986. It includes daily precipitation records from 37 hydrological stations within the Shiyang River Basin, as well as basic information such as the longitude and latitude of each station. The unit of precipitation is mm. This dataset was compiled and organized based on the daily precipitation tables in the *Hydrological Data of Inland Rivers and Lakes* published by the Gansu Provincial Department of Water Resources.
