Stakeholder Analysis in the Kafue River Basin: Resilient River Basins: Counting Fish from Forests for Food Security

This dataset is for a study conducted in the Kafue River Basin in August 2022. The aim of the study was gain insights regarding local forestry and fisheries interactions in order to promote and support forestry, fisheries and water management by conducting stakeholder interviews along the Kafue (including fisherfolk and other stakeholders). The study adopted both quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection. The population of interest were people who have lived in the Kafue flats for 2 or more years. The study conducted jointly with WorldFish and Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). 170 interviews were done using a quantitative questionnaire and 20 Key Informant interviews.
