Raw data of biomechanical variables of spike jump of male volleyball athletes and detailed results of statistical comparison

63 male subelite athletes with acute, previous or no patella tendon pain have been analyzed in a simulated spike jump.Kinetics were measured with plantar pressure insoles (200 Hz) and kinematics with OpenCap (240 Hz). Data were filtered and smoothed. Maximal force, RFD/second (steppest increase between two data points normalized to one second) and impulse were calculated for takeoff and landing. Flight height was calculated by flight time. Maximal joint angles for takeoff and landing were calculated. Maximal joint angle velocities were calculated from the first derivation of the joint angle curves.
