Dataset to "From Distant Shores to an Emerging Island: The Role of Surface and Subsurface Transport in Modeling Seed Dispersal"

This dataset contains code and generated raw data used in the analyses in the paper Rahner et al. (2026): "From Distant Shores to an Emerging Island: The Role of Surface and Subsurface Transport in Modeling Seed Dispersal". Not included are the velocity fields from the ocean model and the full particle trajectory data. See the README.md file for more details.Additionally, we provide a video of the velocity fields from the ocean model GETM for the year 2013, both for surface and for depth-averaged currents. The temporal resolution is 1 hour.
