Privacy Concern Consideration in Smart Homes Device Usage

This research explores the influence of privacy concerns on the intention to use smart home devices. Employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SMART-PLS, data were gathered between November 2024 and January 2025 through a Google Forms survey targeting Indonesian respondents. Purposive sampling was used to collect responses, focusing on individuals familiar with smart home technology. The study examines variables such as Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Benefits, Perceived Risk, Intention to Use, Privacy Concern, Facilitating Conditions, and Social Influence. Results indicate that seven hypotheses are significantly supported.
