Diet affects transcriptome differently in the skin of atopic and healthy Staffordshire bull terriers

In the present study, RNA-Seq was conducted to determine the differentially expressed genes in nonlesional skin from four dogs with naturally-occurring CAD compared to four healthy dogs. The dogs underwent a diet intervention, and were divided into two groups according to their diet (raw or dry food) to find out the effect of the diet on the gene expression in the skin.
