De novo genome assembly of Arcopilus aureus strain MB-11

We aim to assemble the chromosomal-scale nuclear and mitochondrial genomes of Arcopilus aureus, a filamentous fungus with multifaceted ecological and economic roles, by integrating its next-generation sequencing (NGS), long-read sequencing, and high-through chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) data.The high-quality genome assembly and annotation of A. aureus would provide foundations for precisely characterizing its genomic function, regulation and evolution, thereby elucidating the mechanisms of biocontrol, infection, and synthesis of metabolites.
