Bacterial diversity analysis of gut microbiota from rats in Shenyang, China by 16S rRNA sequencing

This project aims to analyze the bacterial microbial diversity of gut samples from laboratory rats reared at Shenyang Medical College using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Samples were collected from healthy adult animals. Amplicon sequencing of the V3-V4 region was performed on the Illumina NovaSeq platform. The data were processed and analyzed using QIIME2. This study provides foundational data for understanding the rat microbial community structure under the specific housing conditions of this region.
