Supplementary Data for (working title) density surface models of vulnerable Kaua'i forest birds measure effectiveness of proposed conservation actions.

This is the supplementary dataset for the manuscript (working title: density surface models of vulnerable Kaua'i forest birds measure effectiveness of proposed conservation actions). lidar_data.csv contains aerial-derived lidar metrics for a radius of 75m around each survey point. survey_data.csv contains distance-sampling bird surveys performed in 2024 on the Alaka'i plateau LIDAR metadata.csv contains metadata explaining the metrics in lidar_data.csv R files.zip contains the R files. Files are species-specific (one for distance model selection and one for generalized-additive model (GAM) selection) The other two shp files are shapefiles for the Alaka'i plateau footprint and current and proposed ungulate fencelines
