This series comprises volumes recording summaries of expenditure at the Melbourne Convalescent Home for Women (VA 5292) from 1886 - 1938. The books provide monthly and yearly expenditure figures for the following items: Salaries and Wages Building Repairs Fittings and Furniture Maintenance Provisions Fuel and Light Medical Comforts Medicines Bedding, Clothing and Drapery Printing, Advertising, and Stationary Bank Interest Insurance Telephones The Home's Jubilee Fund Any other expenditures These books provide expenditure information for the years in which the Home’s annual reports are no longer extant.
