These papers are principally concerned with the leases held by J.H.C. Arnott in the parish of Awaba, County of Northumberland. J.H.C. Arnott was the holder of a special lease for a wharf and bathing place at Toronto. The papers include the following: original applications for a lease; map of the area; report of the surveyor; copies of Gazette notices relating to the lease; the decision of the Local Land Board; and correspondence relating to payment of arrears, fees, and rent.
