This dataset contains national urban air quality data in 2015 released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China. It covers hourly concentration data of PM10 and PM2.5 (unit: μg/m³) from key cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, provincial capital cities and separately administered cities. Atmospheric environmental observations follow the analytical methods stipulated in the Chinese national Ambient Air Quality Standard GB3095-2012. This dataset provides an accurate scientific foundational resource for researches including studies on long-term variation patterns of urban atmospheric pollutants, validation of models simulating the spatio-temporal distribution of atmospheric pollutants and other related research works.
