[C4OC] Urban and Coastal Protection

This sub project will enhance natural environments and restore ecosystem values, improving habitat condition and extent, controlling invasive species, reducing pollution impacts and sustainably managing urban waterways to increase resilience to climate change, by working with community to increase skills, capacity and knowledge in NRM. FBA will partner with all sectors to deliver on-ground outcomes to reduce weeds, revegetate with native plant species, enhance riparian areas to reduce run off and erosion and reduce the threat to marine life from land sourced debris. These works will occur across the coastal and urban zones of the Fitzroy Basin, improving condition and connectivity, increasing ecosystem resilience to climate change.
