Scientific literature review for the identification of existing databases on injuries and accidents of relevance for consumer product safety

A systematic literature review was conducted based on a simplified version of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses methodology. Over 1000 abstracts have been reviewed for relevance in the searched scientific databases (Science Direct, Scopus, PubMed). Google search was also carried out.
