Honeycomb Maps lets you:

- Create interactive map dashboards without needing to write code
- Incorporate location data directly from Snowflake tables - Support for Points, Lines, Polygons, Arcs, and H3 cells
- Add interactive charts and filters, including area and time-series filters 
- Download filtered data to a CSV file
- Connect roles in your Snowflake account to application roles, to give different users different experiences (Admin, Editor, and Viewer)
- Share maps with individual people, or throughout an organization, while respecting existing Snowflake RBAC rules. Data is fetched using Snowflake’s Restricted Caller’s Rights (RCR) functionality.

Honeycomb Maps supports location data in latitude and longitude columns (using coordinates in EPSG:4326 format), H3 cell indexes, and Snowflake’s GEOGRAPHY data type (lines and polygons). Honeycomb Maps supports visualizing up to 1M points concurrently.
