Fore wings of honey bees (Apis mellifera) from southwestern Asia

The data set consists of 17015 images of the fore wing of honey bee Apis mellifera workers, representing 1535 samples and 8 countries in southwestern Asia: Azerbaijan (AZ), Cyprus (CY), Georgia (GE), Iran (IR), Iraq (IQ), Saudi Arabia (SA), Tajikistan (TJ), and Turkey (TR). For each country, there are three files beginning with the two-letter country code (shown in parentheses above): XX-wing-images.zip, XX-raw-coordinates.csv, and XX-data.csv, which contain wing images, raw landmark coordinates, and geographic coordinates, respectively. The wing shape was described with 19 landmarks, which is consistent with the configuration described by Nawrocka et al. (2018) https://doi.org/10.1007/s13592-017-0538-y.
