Data and R code for publication "Cannabis use, health problems, and criminal offences in Germany: national and state-level trends between 2009 and 2021" // Authors: Jakob Manthey, Sinja Klinger, Moritz Rosenkranz, Larissa Schwarzkopf

The data describes trends in the 12-months prevalence of use, the number of persons diagnosed with F12 in medical outpatient settings and the number of persons found to violate the narcotics law for possessing minor amounts of cannabis. All data refers to Germany for the years 2009 to 2021 and are available by sex and age group. Age-standardized rates are calculated for the ages 12-59 (use and offences) and 15-64 (diagnoses).
