Other columns relate to the sub-plots in Fig 4 (see Fig 4 caption for information about the underlying data). Prediction accuracy is defined as the correlation between the inferred and true parameter values. The y-intercept and slope were obtained by fitting regression lines through the data points in Fig 4 (a y-intercept of zero and slope of one indicates no bias). Av. SD gives the average posterior standard deviation across all data points as an indicator for precision of parameter estimates. Subscripts g, f and r refer to susceptibility, infectivity and recoverability, respectively.
