This data set includes the 117,937 raw spectra returned by the Near-Infrared Spectrometer (NIRS) of the Hayabusa mission, along with 111,226 calibrated spectra of asteroid 25143 Itokawa. The targets include the asteroid 25143 Itokawa as well as
Earth, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, stars, and calibration frames. The raw data cover the period from May 12, 2003 through November 24, 2005, and the calibrated data cover the Itokawa encounter phases of the mission, from August 31 through November 24, 2005.
