资源简介:
This dataset contains 47 large convective events on Titan simulated by the Titan Atmospheric Model. The dataset contains the following 5D variables with dimension (composite number [1–47], timestep [1–721], pressure [1–23], latitude [1–32], longitude [1–64]): composite zonal wind (comp_U), composite meridional wind (comp_V), composite specific humidity (comp_Sphum), and composite temperature (comp_T); The following 4D variables at timestep 0 with dimension (composite number, pressure, latitude, longitude): composite vertical velocity (comp_Omega), composite temperature tendency (comp_TDT), and composite specific humidity tendency (comp_QDT); The following 4D variables at one vertical level with dimension (composite number, timestep, latitude, longitude): composite surface pressure (comp_Ps), composite outgoing longwave radiation (comp_OLR), and composite precipitation (comp_Precip); And the following 1D variables: composite number, Tsol (timestep), pressure, latitude, longitude.
The time of the maximum precipitation is timestep 360. The longitude of each event is independently rotated so that the meridian of highest precipitation is centered at 0. For how the events were selected, see (Battalio and Lora, 2021 'Global impacts from high-latitudes storms on Titan').
