Biodiversity garden environmental sample 16S rRNA sequences

16S sequences from environmental samples from the Finlayson district in Tampere, Finland, where a garden emphasizing biodiversity was established in 2021. Samples from the street level were taken from five different distances to the garden beds (Finlaysoninkuja: 0, 5 and 20 m) before the garden was established in May 2021 and after its first growing season in August 2021. Control samples were taken in a similar manner from the adjacent courtyard (Vaino Linnan aukio).
