This document contains an index by keyword of key documents issued by the African Union (AU) and its predecessor the Organisation of African Unity (AOU). It covers various bodys, namely the Assembly of Heads of State and Government; the Executive Council; the Council of the African Economic Community; the Conference of Independent African States; the Central Organ of the OAU Mechanism for Conflict Prevention, Management and Resolution; the AU/REC Mid-Year Coordination Meetings and other extraordinary meetings. The index covers all published OAU/AU documents (Assembly, Executive Council, PSC). However, some documents have never been published. The index follows an intuitive logic which is guided by knowledge of the various institutions and how themes have developed over time.
